Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Miami Beach to lead maintenance teams, oversee make-ready processes, and drive preventative programs across residential properties. You will manage vendors, respond to emergency calls, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent resident service.

You should bring 7+ years in facilities, 3+ years in supervision, and HVAC/EPA/NAPE certifications. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic, values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years supervisory experience and staff development.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Exposure to central plant, boilers and chillers.
• Safety mindset with attention to detail.
• Builder’s mentality; proactive problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills; professional appearance.
• MS Office and tech platforms proficiency.
• Emergency on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Hiring, developing and providing on-the-job and classroom education to techs and staff.
• Address resident service tickets promptly with meticulous follow-up.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Oversee make-ready and turnover to enable leasing and move-ins.
• Execute preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Maintain building cleanliness and safety; manage grounds and snow removal.
• Ensure 24/7 emergency coverage and staffing schedules.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and projects within budget.
• Establish vendor relationships and manage projects in budget.
• Complete annual building system inspections as required by code.
