Job summary

The Fellowship Family seeks a dedicated maintenance supervisor at Fellowship Home in Jacksonville, FL. The role oversees maintenance operations, safety compliance, and vendor coordination to keep facilities well-maintained for residents and staff.

You will implement preventive maintenance, supervise housekeeping and grounds, and support move-ins/move-outs while ensuring strict adherence to regulations. A strong driver with a senior-care mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years in a maintenance-related field.
• Vocational/Trade School degree in maintenance a plus.
• Excellent driving record required.
• Must have compassion and desire to serve senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity of the community and anticipate/correct maintenance issues.
• Prepare and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform installations and repairs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting) per codes.
• Conduct and record routine fire evacuation drills and inspect fire/emergency equipment.
• Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with third-party vendors to meet budgets and quality targets.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Oversee grounds care and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.
• Assist with moving residents and shipments, assist with transport needs, and support event planning.
