Job summary

Colorado Mountain College seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and custodian duties across campus facilities and grounds, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

The role requires experience across electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, locksmithing, carpentry and other trades; a Colorado driver’s license is required, and leadership of projects or teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position, such as an Associate’s Degree and three years related experience, High School/GED and four years related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Professional training and certifications in the maintenance field desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including preventive maintenance and repairs on campus facilities and grounds.
• Provide custodial and general upkeep to offices, restrooms, public areas and vehicles to ensure cleanliness and order.
• May lead projects or function as a point person and back up the Facilities Manager as needed.
