Job summary

Colorado Mountain College seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and custodial tasks across campus facilities and grounds. The role may act as a specialist and provide backup to the Facilities Manager as needed.

Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree with three years of related experience or a High School/GED with four years of related experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and a Colorado driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and three years related experience, or High School/GED and four years related experience.
• Professional training and certifications in the maintenance field desired.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, locksmith, masonry, painting, carpentry, and/or auto mechanics.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventive maintenance, repair, and custodial tasks in and around facilities or grounds using a variety of equipment.
• May serve as specialist or point person in area of expertise and act as back up to the Facilities Manager when needed.
• Experience leading projects and other team members is a plus.
