Job summary

Wonder in New Jersey is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to support our production center, manage maintenance budgets, and optimize repair/replace decisions for FF&E. This on-site role focuses on cost control, vendor partnerships, and scalable operations across multiple facilities.

You will lead preventative maintenance programs, coordinate capital projects, and ensure safety and compliance while collaborating with plant personnel and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive facilities management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing repair and preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, and budgets.
• Solid understanding of restaurant building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of expertise for repair and maintenance issues escalated by the operations team and service providers.
• Manage and track capital budgets, repair and maintenance spending, and general administrative expenses.
• Standardize and improve departmental processes, tools, systems, and workflows.
• Identify, qualify, select, and develop relationships with national and regional vendors for repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee capital projects, ensuring timely, on-budget completion.
• Lead and optimize preventative maintenance programs for equipment and systems.
• Oversee the work order network, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Act as the field contact for problem resolution with landlords or property managers.
