Job summary

Engineering Resource Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and infrastructure operations across a multi-building advanced manufacturing campus in New Jersey. The role supervises a team of technicians and trades, driving preventive and corrective maintenance and capital projects, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contractors, and vendors, and coordinate with building management, security, and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Facilities Management or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities or maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising maintenance technicians or skilled trades.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems in industrial facilities.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and facility capital projects, including budget and contractor management.
• Ability to write technical specifications, work instructions and facility documentation.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and applicable building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience with process gas or chemical distribution systems a plus.
• CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and infrastructure operations at the multi-building campus.
• Supervise, train and develop a team of maintenance technicians and skilled trades.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings, grounds, plant equipment and utilities.
• Plan and execute capital and facility improvement projects; manage budgets, schedules, contractors and vendors.
• Monitor critical infrastructure and drive improvements in safety, reliability, energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Support building management, security and environmental monitoring systems.
• Develop and maintain facility documentation, procedures, specifications and work instructions.
• Report facility priorities, risks and project status to site leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, building codes and standards.
