Job summary

MWMW is seeking a Maintenance Staff member in Texas to maintain facilities, vehicles and equipment, with some IT tasks as time allows. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for coordinating with staff and volunteers.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to operate maintenance software, and a dedication to safe, preventative maintenance. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Understanding (or aptitude to learn) of building and maintenance trades; knowledge of mowing equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including email, word processing, and internet use.
• Knowledge and ability to pull trailers.
• Budget conscious and prevention motivated.
• Minimum 1 year in a maintenance or construction related profession.

Responsibilities

• Problem solving: assess maintenance situations; plan work order tasks and supply runs efficiently.
• Inform and coordinate with staff and volunteers as part of a team.
• Use the online app linked to the maintenance software eSpace.
• Provide task planning, support and leadership for volunteers (individuals, groups, Manna House).
