Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Conroe, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency upkeep on plant machinery and building systems under facility leadership.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety programs (LOTO, confined space), and experience with diagnostic evaluation, PLCs, and various pumps and conveyance systems. Eligible for weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with LOTO and permit confined space programs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Welding or Electrical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant machinery.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to maintain operation.
• Ensure safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, fall protection) are followed.
• Maintain and repair pumps, PLCs, conveyors, and plant systems.
• Document work orders and inventory using CMMS.
