Job summary

Sylvania seeks a skilled facilities maintenance technician for a year-round position in Bellefontaine, OH. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks; CDL is a plus.

Preference for post-secondary training in skilled trades (electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems) and experience with building systems. You will lead daily maintenance tasks and train others, operating equipment such as forklifts and backhoes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL a plus.
• Ability to pass a BCI and FBI background check; on-call after hours.
• Night, weekend and holiday on-call work required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems including HVAC, fire suppression, security, plumbing, and electrical.
• Lead daily maintenance tasks and train team members.
• Operate equipment: forklift, tractor, backhoe, scissor lift.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
