Job summary

Sylvania in Northern Kentucky is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to keep facilities safe and operate a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. You will lead routine inspections, document repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, preparing reports, responding to emergencies, and supporting leadership with facility reliability and efficiency. Strong communication and physical stamina are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Maintains current certifications as it relates to essential duties.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Effective oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities in safe operating condition
• Works on development of preventive maintenance program
• Maintains a preventive maintenance program
• Documents information regarding repairs, supply needs, and/or safety concerns
• Provides reports regarding repairs, supplies, and/or safety concerns as requested
• Inspects facilities and systems to identify potential repairs and providing ongoing preventive maintenance
• Responds to emergency situations for resolving immediate safety concerns surround facility damage, roof leaks, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Chief Facilities Officer or the Superintendent
