Job summary

The City of Prior Lake is accepting applications for a Building Maintenance Coordinator. This role coordinates day-to-day upkeep of City facilities, performs preventive maintenance and repairs, and responds to urgent building situations to keep operations safe and available for staff and the public.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, vocational training in relevant fields, and several years of maintenance or project-management experience; preferred are skilled mechanical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational training in facilities, HVAC or project management.
• Five years of general maintenance experience in facility maintenance or project management.
• Three years of skilled mechanical experience including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and boiler operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain City buildings and coordinate day-to-day upkeep.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to keep facilities operational.
• Respond to urgent building situations and coordinate timely fixes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and city policies.
• Keep City facilities safe, functional and well-maintained for staff and the public.
