Job summary

University of Utah Health in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Supervisor, Maintenance & Staffing to oversee maintenance of School of Business facilities and coordinated landscaping. The role ensures buildings and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with architectural intent while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include readings, calibration, system inspections, alarms response, ERT involvement, work-order management, and budgeting for facilities

Qualifications

• Eight years progressively or more responsible experience in maintenance with two of those years in a leadership position.
• Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
• Journeyman certification in at least one trade may be required.

Responsibilities

• Takes readings off of equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Adjusts and calibrates equipment reading out of parameters.
• Performs inspections of building systems for proper operation and limits.
• Monitors building automation and responds to system alarms.
• Responds to fire alarms as part of the ERT team.
• Submits work orders and coordinates with technicians.
• Manages maintenance projects and budgets.
