Job summary

RESPITE CARE OF SAN ANTONIO in San Antonio, TX seeks a Temporary to hire Facilities Manager responsible for maintenance, repairs, safety, and building systems across multiple sites.

You will manage work orders, assess repairs, obtain bids, create preventive maintenance schedules, conduct daily facility inspections, and attend fundraising events. This role reports to the Facilities Administrator and requires hands-on maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in maintenance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and documents when completed.
• Assess repairs and determine if they can be repaired in-house or outsourced with at least three bids.
• Create a preventative maintenance schedule for each house.
• Perform daily facility walk-throughs to ensure safety and hazard-free grounds.
• Submit a list of supplies and materials for approval.
• Maintain lighting, A/C filters, and general upkeep across facilities.
• Attend fundraising, special events, and Board Meetings as requested.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies after hours when on call.
• Conduct bi-monthly facility inspections and playground safety checks.
