Job summary

Mission Solar Energy in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team and keep operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee HVAC, electrical, safety systems and drive reliability.

The role emphasizes coaching, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with vendors. A strong communicator with 7+ years of facilities maintenance and 3–5 years of supervisory experience is preferred; weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year degree preferred.
• 7 years of facilities maintenance experience; 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, safety systems and life safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and guide a team of maintenance technicians.
• Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance tasks to maximize uptime.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for specialized work.
