Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Four (4) years of experience in building/facilities maintenance; two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises trades maintenance and directs staff activities.
• Repairs equipment and facilities; lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Monitors and coordinates work of Service Contract Surveyors.
• Assigns, reviews, and trains staff; conducts interviews.
• Inspects equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
• Plans weekly or daily work activities per supervisor/customer.
• Supervises unskilled and semi-skilled workers.
• Investigates personnel issues; prepares written reports.
• Investigates accidents; addresses safety hazards.
• Maintains safety awareness programs.
• Keeps personnel records and time system information.
• Orders custodial/maintenance supplies and records.
• Transports employees/equipment within the department.
