Job summary

The City of Renton is seeking a dedicated Lead Maintenance Custodian to oversee daily custodial and maintenance activities, assign and prioritize the work of team members, and perform hands-on trades. You will help keep City facilities secure, clean, and ready to serve the community.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in building maintenance and custodial work, a WA driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general building maintenance and custodial experience.
• Valid Washington State driver's license.
• Successful background and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily custodial and maintenance operations for City facilities and direct staff.
• Train, assign, and prioritize work; schedule regular and temporary personnel.
• Perform minor repairs in building trades and report major needs.
• Maintain supplies inventory and custodial equipment; ensure cleanliness.
• Set up facilities for events and ensure security during shifts.
