Job summary

Metropolis Technologies (SP+), a real-world AI company, is seeking a facility maintenance professional to perform cleaning, basic repairs, and customer interface duties at our Houston location. You will help keep the garage, offices, and entrances safe and orderly.

The role involves daily site inspections, assisting customers, reporting repairs, stocking supplies, and supporting gate and ticket operations. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; flexibility for different

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; facility maintenance, electrical, or painting skills may be required depending on location.
• License: Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Availability to Work: Possible 3rd shift and/or weekends depending on location.
• Oral Communication: Clear and effective spoken English.
• Written Communication: Clear writing and ability to read information.
• Customer Service: Positive attitude and responsiveness to service requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and fix maintenance issues.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, and stairs; wipe rails and surfaces.
• Empty all trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint surfaces as directed to maintain neat appearance.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and address spills.
• Submit repair requests to Facility Manager.
• Check safety items and gate/ticket operations for proper function.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints with supervisor support.
• Maintain uniformed appearance and perform other duties as assigned.
