Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance, Grounds, and Building Support Worker to perform a wide range of duties, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, grounds care, snow and ice control, and custodial tasks to keep district facilities safe and well maintained.

The role requires problem-solving under pressure, ability to operate and maintain building systems, and collaboration with the District Carpenter and facilities staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minnesota Driver’s License required.
• Boiler licenses listed above must be obtained within specified timelines.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical and equipment repairs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, and related controls.
• Operate and service computerized building control systems.
• Assist with door hardware maintenance and carpentry tasks.
• Perform general custodial and grounds maintenance and snow removal.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of district facilities.
