Job summary

Eagle Senior Living is seeking an Engineering Assistant to help maintain our buildings and grounds, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and appliances. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of machinery, tools, electrical systems and emergency response systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC and appliance servicing and repair.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine surveys of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Evaluate the physical and aesthetic condition of the community and recommend renovations.
• Prepare maintenance and repair work orders and ensure quality of completed work.
• Complete preventive maintenance on equipment and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Repair household and commercial appliances, including dishwashers, washers, dryers, ranges, and microwaves.
• Maintain grounds—seeding, fertilizing, trimming, and landscaping upkeep.
• Maintain logs and documentation for building systems.
