Eagle Senior Living is seeking an Engineering Assistant to help maintain our buildings and grounds. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment and appliances and report to the Director of Engineering.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and emergency response is preferred. Flexible hours and physical work are involved.

We're hiring an Engineering Assistant to help maintain our buildings and grounds, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and appliances. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.
Conduct routine surveys of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs
Evaluate the physical and aesthetic condition of the community and recommend or arrange renovations
Prepare maintenance and repair work orders and ensure quality of completed work
Complete preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled; repair malfunctions and coordinate with contractors as needed
Repair household and commercial appliances, including dishwashers, washers, dryers, ranges, and microwaves
Maintain grounds — seeding, fertilizing, trimming, and general landscaping upkeep
Maintain logs and documentation for building systems
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
At least three (3) years of related work experience required
Working knowledge of machinery, tools, electrical systems, and emergency response systems
Knowledge of HVAC and appliance servicing and repair
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and exert up to 50 pounds of pressure unassisted
Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition
Work is performed primarily in a well-lit, well-ventilated building, with exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, odors, noise, heights, and confined spaces
Occasional outdoor exposure to weather and temperature changes
Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed
