Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe, compliant facility. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of facilities maintenance or engineering experience, a technical or trade school certification in HVAC/electrical/mechanical systems, and the ability to lift 20+ lbs

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Technical or trade school certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• 3–4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems.
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS.
