Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to perform routine operational maintenance on equipment, including start-up and shutdown procedures, and to respond to work orders on site at our League City facility.

The role requires 1–3 years in a related field, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to handle emergency alarms during and after hours; preferred licenses and SMT/SMA designations are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergency alarms for fire and security during business hours and after hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operational maintenance on equipment, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Evaluate and resolve any arising problems, with assistance and/or supervision as needed.
• Conduct lighting inspections, manage inventory of bulbs, change bulbs, and request assistance for ballast replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and miscellaneous issues.
• Respond to maintenance duties/work orders as they occur on the premises.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment as assigned.
• Demonstrate on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis and assist in storm preparation.
