The Lodge at Torrey Pines, managed by Evans Hotels, LLC, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Engineer III to help maintain equipment, the physical plant, and the property, ensuring optimal operation and reliability.

This role requires HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment experience, with opportunities for career advancement and benefits. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical training.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong HVAC experience is a plus.
• Hotel or similar business experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and kitchen equipment preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor under stress.
• Able to stand, kneel, and lift up to 100 lb throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Completes work assignments and tasks in cooperation with facility technicians in a team-oriented environment.
• Works with Maintenance Planning to evaluate needs for scheduled and unscheduled work or special projects.
• Follows up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and other systems.
• Assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Reviews and maintains maintenance logs and documentation for task completion.
• Performs additional duties as directed by the leadership team.
