The Lodge at Torrey Pines, operated by Evans Hotels, is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer III to help ensure equipment and the physical plant operate at optimum levels at our San Diego area property.

This full-time role requires 2 years of technical training and 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong HVAC and facilities expertise. Weekend and day/evening shifts may be required; offers include comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Completes work assignments with a team of facility technicians.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Planning for requests and special projects.
• Keeps up with preventative maintenance on refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and doors.
• Assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintains maintenance logs and completes required documentation.
• Performs additional duties as directed by leadership.

SUMMARY

The FacilitiesMaintenance Engineer III ("Ingeniero/a de Mantenimiento I") assists to ensure equipment, physical plant, and property are maintained properly so that equipment operates at optimum levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Completes work assignments and tasks in cooperation with other facility technicians in a team-oriented environment.
• Works with the Maintenance Planning department to evaluate needs for all work requests--both scheduled and unscheduled--as well as any special projects that arise.
• Follows up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, and any other mechanical systems.
• Assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Reviews and maintains maintenance logs, and completes any and all documentation necessary to the completion of a task.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

Qualifications

• 2 years technical training.
• At least4 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Strong HVAC experience a plus.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and kitchen equipment preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends, holidays and day or night shift is required.
• Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 100 lb
