Job summary

The Groundskeeping Supervisor role at The Lodge at Torrey Pines is part of Evans Hotels LLC. You will oversee daily groundskeeping tasks, maintain lawns and gardens, and ensure safe, attractive outdoor spaces for guests and events.

Responsibilities include operating lawn equipment, coordinating shifts, and maintaining landscaping in accordance with the plan. Weekend/holiday availability and a professional, guest‑facing presence are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of groundskeeping related experience or training.
• Experience running shifts, scheduling, performance management, and guest servicing.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, maintains lawns and flower beds, and inspects grounds daily.
• Operates lawn equipment and power tools.
• Repairs and maintains exterior and interior landscaping elements.
• Plans and executes landscaping as per the plan.
• Recommends equipment purchases and locations for trees/shrubs.
• Performs other duties as directed by leadership.
