Job summary

Life Time in San Clemente, CA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers and pool systems. You will manage preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document work in a CMMS.

Role targets candidates with 3–4 years in building engineering or mechanical systems in recreational facilities, with relevant licenses or certifications. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems.
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience.
