Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee the inspection, maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems. This role focuses on safe, compliant, and fully operational facilities through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems experience required.
• Must be able to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Boiler/engineering licenses and pool operator certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience
