Job summary

Oxford Senior Living in Saint Peter, MN, seeks a full-time Maintenance Engineer to perform HVAC and building systems maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to keep the facility safe and compliant.

The role requires reading blueprints, on-call duties with 35-minute response, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds; Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler Engineer license or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, health care setting experience preferred.
• Minnesota 2nd Class Boiler Engineer's license or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license.
• Experience with HVAC and building regulations is a plus.
• Basic computer and energy management system skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs HVAC controls and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Performs urgent repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and structures.
• Reads blueprints and prepares specifications.
• Monitors and troubleshoots building systems controls.
• Performs floor care and facility grounds maintenance as needed.
