Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Lead Building Engineer in Saint Paul/Minneapolis area to manage maintenance systems, respond to client requests, and lead engineers. You’ll conduct inspections, test alarms, and implement preventative maintenance while coordinating with property managers and vendors.

The role requires boiler and refrigeration certification, 5+ years in building maintenance, and strong organizational/communication skills. On-site with comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly range.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in building/property maintenance or engineering.
• Minnesota boiler license and refrigeration certificate are required.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operating logs for HVAC equipment, meters and complaints.
• Ensure tenant service requests are handled cost-effectively.
• Assist in annual budget development and RFP processes.
