Job summary

SK Battery America is seeking a facility construction manager to oversee maintenance, renovations, and construction projects within a manufacturing environment. The role includes budgeting, planning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timeliness.

The candidate will review drawings, modify as needed (P&ID), write construction docs, and manage P/O processes. Leadership and training of shift staff are essential, with the ability to work across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with construction in manufacturing is required.
• Ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot to identify root cause.
• Excellent interpersonal and training skills for both hourly and salary staff.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage annual maintenance/repair plan and budget.
• Request renovations and issue purchase orders for construction.
• Establish and manage annual investment plan and budget.
• Review construction drawings and make simple modifications (P&ID, etc.).
• Write specifications and construction documents for public use.
• Request quotations for new construction and issue construction PO.
• Review and repair facility per system requests; conduct regular inspections.
• Plan emergency trainings for natural disasters, power outages, and chemical releases.
• Supervise facility construction during repairs or production-line changes; manage construction parts and materials.
