Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance functions, manage budgets, and ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role requires coordinating with staff and executives, conducting safety inspections, and guiding maintenance teams through preventive and corrective tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems is recommended
• Additional certification/education in building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems is strongly recommended
• Candidate should be in fair physical condition to perform tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and control of supplies, equipment, repairs and personnel budgets.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Maintain positive public relations with residents, families, employees and the public.
• Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance is completed per the maintenance manual.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with staff, consultants and the Executive Director as appropriate.
• Assist Executive Director in hiring and training of new staff.
• Serve on safety committees and follow-up on maintenance-related recommendations.
• Enforce Safety Management Program manual requirements and conduct safety inspections as outlined.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Read, write and speak English

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems knowledge

Certification/education in building codes, safety, HVAC, electrical, refrigeration and plumbing systems

Physical ability to lift 45 pounds
