Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to effectively manage maintenance functions within budget, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents, employees, and visitors. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure adherence to maintenance manuals and safety programs.

The role requires knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and HVAC/electrical/plumbing systems, with potential certifications.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems recommended.
• Additional certification/education regarding building codes, safety regulations, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems strongly recommended.
• Fair physical condition to perform tasks (bending, lifting, etc.).
• Lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and control of supplies, equipment, repairs and personnel budgets.
• Assure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Maintain positive public relations with residents, families, employees and the public.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in compliance with maintenance manual procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with staff, consultants, and Executive Director as appropriate.
• Assist Executive Director in hiring and training of new staff.
• Serve on safety committees and follow up on recommendations relating to maintenance.
• Enforce Safety Management Program requirements.
• Conduct and supervise safety inspections per maintenance manual.

Education
