Job summary

Paramount Care Centers is seeking a Maintenance Director responsible for the facility's maintenance operations, supervising staff, and ensuring reliable performance of all building systems.

You will implement preventive maintenance, manage safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate repairs and procurement, and partner with administrators to protect residents and assets while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with basic electrical, plumbing, heating and HVAC training.
• Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and safety compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets and ordering supplies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance department and perform hands-on repairs.
• Maintain building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) in good repair.
• Ensure compliance with laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems; keep test records.
• Assist in maintenance budgeting and procurement.
• Schedule and assign maintenance staff and on-call duties.
• Ensure resident safety and care standards.
