The Palace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's building, grounds, and utility systems, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff. The role oversees maintenance operations, budgeting, and coordination with other departments to support efficient workflows.

You will manage the maintenance team, schedule preventive tasks, and respond to emergencies, contributing to a culture of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years related experience.
• 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance operation of the facility.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records and reports to the Administrator.
• Coordinate with other departments and participate in budget planning.
• Test emergency generator weekly and monthly as required.
• Inspect fire extinguishers monthly.
• Remain on-call for facility emergencies.
