Job summary

Paramount Care Centers seeks a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's maintenance operations, including hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and staff supervision. The role requires ensuring safety, code compliance, and timely maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

You will also manage records, supplies, and help drive the department's budget planning. The position is full-time, on-site at the facility with on-call duties around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties and be on-call.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Maintenance Department and perform hands-on repairs.
• Maintain building systems to keep them in good repair and safe for residents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain records and reports as required; participate in budget planning.
• Order supplies and manage vendor relationships with Administrator approval.
• Supervise, train, and orient maintenance staff; schedule duties and shifts.
