Job summary

The Residence at Dania Beach is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the property's housekeeping and maintenance staff, ensuring safe, comfortable living spaces for residents, quick response to issues, and proactive upkeep of common areas.

You will manage plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and groundskeeping tasks, perform routine repairs, address leaks and safety hazards, coordinate preventive maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with AHCA, NFPA, CMS, OSHA

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and routine maintenance.
• Ability to multitask and establish priorities while supervising staff.
• Experience applying codes and regulations (AHCA, NFPA, CMS, OSHA, EPA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping and maintenance staff and ensure safe, clean facilities.
• Address leaks, clogs, and other drainage or structural issues promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance on building; fix windows, doors and walls.
• Manage electrical wiring issues and HVAC equipment for climate control.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and supervise external contractors.
• Maintain safety standards and mitigate hazards to prevent injuries.
• Paint and perform basic repairs as needed; oversee groundskeeping.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
