Job summary

The Residence at Dania Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the facility areas in good repair and well-maintained. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and wall coverings as part of routine upkeep.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash handling, room inspections, and performing general maintenance tasks while maintaining a safe work environment. A Florida driver’s license and background check are required for employment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required) or 2 years experience in the field.
• Florida Driver's License (Required)
• US work authorization (Required)
• Pass level 2 criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Empty wastepaper basket and ashtrays in outside areas
• Transport trash to waste disposal equipment
• Dust and polish wooden surface and furniture
• Replenish the bathroom
• Inspect residents room prior to move in
• Clean the rooms, lounges, lobby, bathrooms and hallways
• Vacuum and wash carpets and rugs
• May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
