Job summary

IRMC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to oversee building, equipment, and grounds upkeep. You will schedule preventative maintenance, inspect facilities, and coordinate emergency repairs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

You will liaise with contractors, manage work orders and vendor records, assist in budgeting and procurement, and support space planning and safety compliance across campuses in the region. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years prior secretarial experience in an office setting

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair activities for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, work orders, warranties, and vendor contracts.
• Assist in budgeting and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Manage access control systems, keys, and security protocols.
• Support space planning and office moves as needed.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager on projects including renovations, upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate resolution efforts.
