Job summary

CAMBA Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support the Brooklyn headquarters and other CAMBA locations.

The role involves operating vehicles for transport, performing cleaning and maintenance tasks, and assisting clients as needed to ensure safe, accessible facilities. Reporting to the Vice President, you will maintain facilities, perform minor repairs, and support security and safety protocols while contributing to CAMBA’s mission to help New Yorkers thrive.

Qualifications

• Must have valid New York State Driver’s License and excellent driving history.
• Must complete NYS Approved Defensive Driving Classes every 3 years.
• Must take Refresher Computerized Defensive Driver class.
• Must remain insurable per CAMBA’s point system.
• If required to drive 15 passenger van, must pass tests annually.
• Acknowledge review of CAMBA’s Transportation Policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of company vehicles to transport passengers and supplies.
• Clean rooms, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Perform maintenance tasks including light repairs and painting.
• Load/unload furniture and supplies; assist clients to appointments.
• Keep vehicle and facilities clean, safe and orderly.
