Job summary

CAMBA in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to support and maintain our community centers and facilities across 35 hours per week. You will identify and report maintenance issues, perform basic repairs, clean and sanitize spaces, and ensure safety standards are followed.

This role requires the ability to follow written work orders and to obtain necessary SCR and fingerprint clearances. Compensation is $18.04 hourly, with comprehensive benefits including health and dental

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Sufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend written and oral instructions and complete tasks.
• Bilingual in English and any other language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
• Identify and report all maintenance issues.
• Always comply with maintenance regulatory requirements.
• Make minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Escort clients to appointments.
