Job summary

Arcadia Care in Lincoln, IL is opening a new facility and seeks a Maintenance Assistant to help plan, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department to keep the building safe and comfortable. Responsibilities include repairing property, coordinating with departments and vendors, and overseeing safety and fire protection programs.

The role requires knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as familiarity with building codes

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Maintenance Department operations to keep the facility safe and comfortable.
• Repair facility/resident property and coordinate maintenance services with other departments and outside vendors.
• Supervise safety and fire protection and prevention programs; inspect work areas and equipment to ensure proper operation.
