Job summary

Dr Delphinium in Dallas seeks a Facilities Maintenance Associate to keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and guests. You will perform routine cleaning, assist with maintenance, support groundskeeping, and help ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility cleaning and warehouse organization preferred.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
• Able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors.
• Clean, sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, and other glass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash; empty and clean wastebaskets and containers.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment, tools, furniture, and fixtures.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping walkways and basic grounds upkeep.
• Replenish and restock restrooms and supply stations throughout the building.
• Assist the Processing department with receiving, processing, and storage of flowers.
• Support the Warehouse Lead with receiving supplies and organizing the warehouse.
• Assist with pulling and stocking supplies as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties to support facility operations.

The facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facility. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Ability to operate a variety of cleaning and maintenance equipment
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and maintenance equipment
• Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Ability to work standard hours, including weekend and holidays when necessary
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Physically capable of working in a cooler (approx. 32°F) for extended periods.
• Prior experience with facility cleaning and warehouse organization preferred
• Experience with light repair/handperson work preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Tobacco-free workplace; adherence to company policy required during working hours
