Delaware Valley Floral Group, headquartered in Sewell, NJ, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Team Member to support daily operations at our distribution facility. You will help keep the warehouse, cooler, and office areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The role involves routine maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and safe operation of equipment like forklifts and WAVE machines. The position requires day shift, full-time hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial work preferred.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and WAVE equipment (certified or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse, cooler, office, and exterior areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and floor care.
• Inspect building equipment, lighting, fire extinguishers, and exit lights.
• Identify and report issues and support preventive maintenance.

About the Role

The Facilities Maintenance Team Member supports the daily operations of our distribution facility by helping maintain a clean, safe, and well‑functioning work environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring operational efficiency by performing routine facility maintenance, inspections, and general upkeep throughout the warehouse and office areas.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, cooler, office, and exterior work environment.
• Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and floor maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections of building equipment, lighting, fire extinguishers, exit lights, and other facility assets.
• Identify and report maintenance issues while completing routine preventive maintenance activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and WAVE machines, safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials needed to support daily operations.
• Support compliance with company safety standards and facility maintenance procedures.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a warehouse, cooler (approximately 34°F), and outdoor environment. The role requires regular exposure to cleaning products, water, warehouse equipment, and varying noise levels.

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, and crouch throughout the workday and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Full-time schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM
• Additional hours and/or days may be required during peak seasons
