Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) seeks a Facilities Maintenance Team Member to support our distribution facility in Mantua Township. You will help keep the warehouse, cooler, and offices clean, safe, and well-maintained, contributing to efficient daily operations.

The role involves routine maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. A detail-oriented, independent worker is essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and WAVE equipment or obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, cooler, office, and exterior areas.
• Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, minor repairs, painting, and floor upkeep.
• Inspect building equipment, lighting, fire extinguishers, and exit lights.
• Identify and report maintenance issues; perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.

About The Role

The Facilities Maintenance Team Member supports the daily operations of our distribution facility by helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning work environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring operational efficiency by performing routine facility maintenance, inspections, and general upkeep throughout the warehouse and office areas.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, cooler, office, and exterior work environment.
• Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and floor maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections of building equipment, lighting, fire extinguishers, exit lights, and other facility assets.
• Identify and report maintenance issues while completing routine preventative maintenance activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and WAVE machines, safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials needed to support daily operations.
• Support compliance with company safety standards and facility maintenance procedures.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a warehouse, cooler (approximately 34°F), and outdoor environment. The role requires regular exposure to cleaning products, water, warehouse equipment, and varying noise levels.

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, and crouch throughout the workday and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Other Information

• Onsite position
• Full-time schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Additional hours and/or days may be required during peak seasons
