Job summary

The Vomela Companies in High Point, NC is seeking a Facilities Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and support daily building operations to ensure a positive experience for employees, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities include inspections, equipment maintenance, and coordination with contractors and vendors. This role requires physical activity and comfort with indoor/outdoor work conditions, lifting up

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine cleaning and sanitation
• Attention to safety procedures and PPE usage
• Experience supporting facility operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock restroom, kitchen, and facility supplies as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility areas and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain facility grounds and outdoor common areas as assigned.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies.

The Facilities Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and functional work environment. This position performs routine cleaning, facility upkeep, minor maintenance tasks, and supports daily building operations to ensure a positive experience for employees, customers, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock restroom, kitchen, and facility supplies as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility areas and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain facility grounds, including sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor common areas as assigned.
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Respond promptly to facility-related requests and emergencies.
• Support contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
