Job summary

Dr Delphinium Designs + Events seeks a Facilities Maintenance Associate to keep our Dallas-area facility clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and guests. You’ll perform routine cleaning, basic upkeep, and support with storage and minor repairs.

This hands-on role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate with the Warehouse Lead and other teams, and work with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a clean, safe environment.
• Ability to operate a variety of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and maintenance equipment.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
• Ability to work standard hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Physically capable of working in a cooler (approx. 32°F) for extended periods.
• Prior experience with facility cleaning and warehouse organization preferred.
• Experience with light repair/handyperson work preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.
• Tobacco-free workplace; adherence to company policy required during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors.
• Clean, sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, and other glass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash; empty and clean wastebaskets and containers.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment, tools, furniture, and fixtures.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping walkways and basic grounds upkeep.
• Replenish and restock restrooms and supply stations throughout the building.
• Assist the Processing department with receiving, processing, and storage of flowers.
• Support the Warehouse Lead with receiving supplies and organizing the warehouse.
• Assist with pulling and stocking supplies as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties to support facility operations

The facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facility.
