Job summary

Front Porch is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Janitor for San Francisco Towers. Under supervision, you will keep premises clean and orderly by performing duties across rooms, halls, restrooms and common areas, and assist with event setup.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months of janitorial experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plans. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, wash walls, move furniture, hang pictures and mirrors, sweep, scrub, wax, polish floors.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas as assigned.
• Sweeps and hoses carports, patios, sidewalks, dumpster areas, or other common areas as assigned.
• Re-stock supplies, soap, and sanitizers in restrooms and kitchenettes.
• Gather and empty trash throughout campus and offices.
• Set up and take down tables and chairs as assigned for daily and/or special events.
• Keeps equipment clean and in good order. Reports when equipment, structures, or furniture need repair.
• Assists in arranging furniture for residents when moving a resident from one apartment to another in the building or from cottages if furnishings are not too large or heavy.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
