Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to keep the facility, apartments, and common areas clean and orderly across St. Paul’s Towers and related properties in Oakland, CA. The role includes cleaning, stocking supplies, moving furniture for residents, and assisting with event setup.

• 3 Months prior work experience
• 3 Months prior Janitor work

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Assistant duties including cleaning windows, walls, floors, and general upkeep.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas as assigned.
• Restock supplies and sanitation products in restrooms/kitchens.
• Gather and empty trash across campus and offices.
• Set up and take down tables/chairs for events as needed.
• Report equipment or furniture needing repair.
• Assist in moving furniture for residents when needed.
