Job summary

Traditions-Management is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community buildings and grounds in excellent condition. You’ll handle hands-on tasks from routine repairs to basic preventative maintenance, contributing to residents’ safety and comfort.

You’ll work collaboratively with our maintenance team, complete work orders promptly, and support safety standards. Flexibility for evenings or weekends and a positive approach when assisting residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or handyman work.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Positive attitude and respect for residents’ homes.
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance of the community, including resident apartments, common areas, and grounds.
• Complete work orders for repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.
• Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in mechanical, storage, and utility areas.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our building and grounds in great shape. From fixing small repairs to helping with preventative maintenance, your work will directly contribute to the safety, comfort, and happiness of our residents.

Maintenance Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine maintenance of the community, including resident apartments, common areas, and grounds.

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications and Skills:

• A positive attitude and respect for working in residents’ homes.
