Job summary

The Shores, a UMC senior living community in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to perform day-to-day repairs across the campus. You will handle building systems, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks while responding quickly to resident and staff service requests.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, completing work orders, tracking supplies, and identifying safety concerns to keep the community safe and secure.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

What You'll Need

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing

Schedule

Full-time. Choose from:

  • Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with weekend and holiday rotation
  • Monday–Friday, 11am–7pm or 12pm–8pm, with weekend and holiday rotation
